I actually can see a flower if i look at this Kanji long enough. But maybe not everyone can. So we can recall the meaning from this Kanji from putting together the meaning of the three parts which make it up. The top part in red means like Grass or shrub / plant, kind of meaning. The green part is from 人にん(nin) person But as you should know it looks more like イ when its used as a piece of another Kanji. And the black remaining part I have heard refereed to as a spoon. And i can see that. So we have a shrub, person and a spoon. So the story you need to recall when you see this Kanji is that a person came to some shrubs and planted a Flower with a spoon. |
